Review: Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar
I first came across these gloss bars while browsing Sasa. They were having a summer sale, and I remember seeing the package and thought they were too cute to pass! The first one I got was Juicy Orange. I immediately fell in love with these gloss bars that I decided to buy another one, but I bought my second gloss bar in Juicy Cherry.
I first thought it was a lipstick, but it turns out to be more like tinted lip balm, which I have no problem with. It is quite sheer, so it gives your lips a more natural appearance. However, you can layer the lip gloss to make the colours pop even more! Since it is a gloss bar, it leaves your lips looking glossy and shiny. But unlike lip gloss, it does not leave your lips feeling sticky. In fact, it feels very moisturizing. I'd say they have the same consistency as lip balm!Read more »
Etude House Princess Etoinette Collection
I know I am actually a bit late on this, but Etude House has launched their 2012 holiday collection a few weeks ago! I first noticed it on their Facebook page, and I immediately fell in love with the collection! It looks so elegant and regal; it's really, in my opinion, the most beautiful makeup packaging I've ever seen.
I just want to start off by saying Merry Christmas! I wasn't originally going to make a Christmas post, but since I received quite a bit of kawaii plushies for Christmas, I decided to update!
All the kawaii stuff I received for Christmas. I know it actually isn't THAT much to update, but it's considered a lot to me! I've been restraining myself from buying kawaii things since I need to start saving up for school. But even when I do buy things for myself, I usually buy makeup and clothes instead. Everything is from my family, except the Arpakasso in the purple bear hoodie.
The Mameshiba family. I don' know why, but for the past month or so, I really started getting into Mameshiba. I've known about Mameshiba for a while now, but for some reason...I only realized its cuteness recently, haha. My favourite Mameshibas are the edamame and tiger bean! I actually hate the taste of edamame, and I have no idea if tiger bean is really a type of bean... Regardless, they make cute Mameshibas!
Winter Seasonal 2012 Luxe Box
This is my first Luxe box, and I have to say I am pretty satisfied with what I got! Ever since I canceled Glossy box, I wanted to try a new monthly beauty subscription and I was thinking of trying Glymm box. I originally wasn't thinking about subscribing to Luxe box since they are seasonal boxes, and not monthly. However, I did subscribe to their news letter, and I received an e-mail saying that the winter boxes are available. I thought, "Why not?" and have been anxiously waiting for my box to arrive!
The box was a bit pricey in comparison to the other beauty boxes. As opposed to the average $10-$15 range, Luxe boxes go for $26 (almost $28 with taxes). I was expecting the box to be good because of its price, and I have to say I am happy with what I've gotten.
The box was beautifully packaged, and it came in a rectangular white box with their logo in the center.
When you open the box, there's an envelope with all the product information inside. The goodies came in a cute, white pouch. I love the pouch, since it's perfect to use as a lunch bag for work, haha!
Aside from a letter with the product information, I've also been given (I think?) a one year subscription to Flare magazine. I think it's a year, if not I am thinking 6 months. I didn't really pay attention to the magazine subscription because I don't plan on subscribing, as it didn't interest me too much.
And here are all the items I've received for this season's box.
